Our Commitment to Affordability

TLF is committed to revolutionizing the form and execution of all aspects of education for all humanity. Our scope is global. Over the years, learners have come from many countries and varied backgrounds.

We realize it is not possible to set a fixed tuition rate that would be fair and just to all given the diversity of economic backgrounds.

Education must be liberated free from the constraints of the crippling expense of mainstream universities, with its concurrent degrading alliance with banks and government.

Traditional education has failed to bring forth income equity, equality to people of color and women, and relational appreciation for Earth and one another. It is time to move on!

Our revolutionary answer: Customized Tuition.

Customized Tuition and Transformation

Our Customized Tuition fortifies and aligns with our understanding of transformation and our core values: Trust, Embodiment, and Self-Reflection.

We trust that all participants will be honest and fair as to their needs and financial resources. We trust that we will come to an equitable arrangement for everyone. Learning deepens with trust and transparency. Everyone grows together. Transformation emerges.

We embody our commitment to relationship and growth. Relationships suffer under unnecessary financial stress, and mutual decision-making about finances can reduce this stress. This approach allows us to emphasize learning and collaboration above all else.

We self-reflect as an organization, as faculty, and as students to understand our limits and our capacities. In order to reach an equitable and just financial relationship, we must explore who we are, not just what we do. Power dynamics dissolve and mutual benefit emerges.

How it Works

Begin by applying to the certificate program TLF staff will review your application and reach out to schedule a meeting.

Together, you will design a Customized Tuition plan that includes an adjusted tuition total, which is a flat-fee that covers the entire certificate program. If necessary, we will also design a payment plan that allows you to spread the cost over the period of your enrollment in the certificate program.

Tuition for the Certificate Program covers 300 course hours, faculty and advisor salaries, technology costs, and TLF’s administrative costs.

As Customized Tuition is groundbreaking we expect many of you may be uncertain about the specifics. We encourage you to apply (no fee) and talk with us. Let’s build our relationship immediately.

Financial Aid and federal loans are not available for the certificate program.
