Expressive Arts Zone
The visual arts enable children to express their inner worlds and innate emotional wisdom through their imaginative landscapes and visual narratives. In this course, we will explore children’s art in relation to identity, creativity, learning and ways of knowing and being. Participants will not just have the opportunities to understand the significance of the arts in the lives of children, but also engage in artistic experiences in a variety of ways. The lens of Holistic Education, experiential learning, self-reflection and community dialogue bring forth embodied learning, empowering us to ask the questions: whose art, whose lens and whose worldviews.
